Born in Hollywood, Ty Stevens is no stranger to the entertainment industry. After attending college, majoring in music, Ty then majored in the world of playing live for artists such as Mandy Moore, with whom he toured for over five years. Since then Ty has served as Musical Director for Hilary Duff, Jennifer Pena, and Daniel Rene. Ty is currently the Musical Consultant for Hollywood Records artists Aly and AJ.

Signed to Warner/Chappell as a staff songwriter/producer, Ty has written and produced countless artists for Disney, Verve, Universal, Hollywood Records, and many others for film, TV, and record projects. Ty co-wrote the latest single from smooth jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair as well as “Rock This World” from Hilary Duff’s debut album, which has sold over 5 million records worldwide, and was also included on her Most Wanted album.

Ty's main goal when writing with and for other artists is to find the very essence of who the artist is, and write the songs that help convey that essence to the rest of the world. In the world of music, melody is King and the lyric is queen. This is the creed by which Ty writes all his songs.
