Argentina-born Paz Lenchantin was a founding member of the multi-platinum group A Perfect Circle. She contributed bass guitar, strings, and backup vocals to A Perfect Circle’s first and second albums. Paz briefly left the group to form the short-lived band Zwan with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins. She returned to A Perfect Circle for their third album eMOTIVe, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. She also contributed a solo cover of the song "Hollow" to A Perfect Circle's CD/DVD release, aMOTION. Paz also played bass, fiddle, and banjo on projects by Queens of the Stone Age, Brightblack Morning Light, Entrance, and Silver Jews. She also contributed violin to the soundtrack of director Michael Mann’s Miami Vice. Paz also has two solo albums to her credit, Yellow mY skYcaptain and Songs For Luci.
