Whether it's composing feature film music, studio work for major recording artists, or performing on world stages, Lyle Workman enjoys the fruits of a diversified career. Workman performed as a member of Sting’s band for Live 8 with subsequent shows throughout Europe, the US, Canada, and South America. On the big screen, Lyle composed the music for The 40 Year Old Virgin, wrote additional music for Knocked Up as well as the upcoming full feature Superbad. Workman has also recorded and/or performed with Beck, Shakira, Sheryl Crow, Frank Black, Todd Rundgren, Tony Williams, and They Might Be Giants, just to name a few.

His solo records Purple Passages and Tabula Rasa have received international acclaim and highlight his work in all facets of production, engineering, arranging and composing. He is currently working towards completing his next CD.
